2005 Jeep Liberty CRD Limited, premium TPMS factory wheels and sensors I've searched this site and all of google,lots of "check tpm system" posts, but nothing similar to mine....... originally started by dashlight coming on (tpms light), check tpm system on evic, and would only read right front and right rear, other two showed --. Then all showed -- for a few days. Then the left front came back, all others show --. Today, I let the air out of all the tires, one by one. When I let air out of the left front, it said low spare pressure. When I let the air out of the left rear, it showed the left front slowing going to zero. The right two and the spare made no difference. I unhooked the battery and rotated the tires, front to back. hooked battery back up. right away read left front still and showed -- for the rest. Drove it down the highway for awhile to reset, nothing changed, still left front only. And still says check tpm system with dash light on. Also, as i read, I held the c/t and reset buttons as i turn the ignition on, it says self test passed. I have no problem replacing the sensors, but since it is also showing them in the wrong positions, i would think there are other problems, and I can't imagine all the sensors going bad at once. Any ideas and any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you! |
