kenwood amp, forget what it is, and a JL audio 12inch sub(stealthbox). Thing bumps hard with the open cabin, it overpowers the stock speakers so i usually turn it down, but i can get it to the point where it moves all my mirrors around

I have an old sony head unit thats from 2005 I think and I have my old Kenwood powered sub from 2003. Other then that its a stock system. Sounds pretty good but Id love a refresh as the sub has seen better days, my radio buttons for stations arent working well, the volume knob is cracked and the dash "speakers" are about blown.

Finding funds to freshen things up will be near impossible, so I hope this setup can last a few more years...

I stole the head unit from my talon as the stocker didnt have an aux port. But mostly Ill agree with this. The 3.7l with dynomax and K and N sounds pretty darn nice. :JEEPIN:

Stock in dash CD changer, and stock speakers.

Added USA Spec iPod adapter and Bracketron iPod mount.

I may upgrade the speakers in the future, depending on the availability of funds.

It's been a while since I could listen to it now. Pioneer Premier DEH-P680MP, 6.5" Rockford Fosgates in each door, Boston Acoustics tweeters in the dash and 2 - 12" Pioneers in the sub box in back pushed by a 1200w off brand amp that actually sounds pretty decent! not bad for an old guy!! :goink:

Fully JL Audio... the KJ was in the process of being a demo vehicle for the Rockies before the bottom dropped-out in 08.

those speakers and tweeters must be amazing! i also have a pioneer head unit its a DEH P710BT and im very happy with it. my system is strong where yours is weak and vice versa :) i have all powerbass which is great for the bass but i would love the crisp sound that fosgates and boston produce.
