A buddy of mine does excellent work. He locks transmit & receive, tweaks the output, and even does mods....... This "Beast" puts out 100 watts dead key.   Proof of power output......  Normally, this would sell for over $300. He's in a bit of a financial bind, and will let it go for $160 plus shipping. (He usually ships flat rate USPS) He's got other to chose from if you don't want all the bells & whistles..... |

how does he feel about me senidng him my cobra 29 lx and doing some mods to boost RX and TX?... what will it run me? |

His Cobra 29's run at about 15 watts dead key, modulating between 30 & 40. If memory serves, he sells them at around $175 plus shipping.
