I've searched and cant find what color wire to splice into for the PAC-SWI steering wheel radio controls to connect to an aftermarket radio. On the PAC SWI, I'm to connect to the green wire and the instructions claim there is a "GREY/WHITE" wire on the steering column to connect to the green wire, but I am not finding it...

We've just been through this today! Here's how we found it in our '06:
Remove the lower steering wheel cover. There should be 2 harnesses plugging in to the lower left of the steering wheel. The left plug should be white, and contain with the gray/white wire, which you can trace back to the main bundle going to the wheel. We cut and spliced the wire as close as possible to that bundle.

Ours is attached and functioning, but I actually logged on here looking for helpful hints on programming the SWI-PS. We're having problems getting the right buttons to do the right things--seems like we're getting them out of sequence, or the sequence is different that what the directions say.

Good luck!

I was just at the radio shop and was asking about having them do this for me and he had mentioned that sometimes the controls may not be the same or not do the same function. He did make it sound like thats the way it would have to be and there was no fix. This was with an adaptor he said.

Just wanted to give you heads up, pun intended.

im, sorry, i wish i could remember. I had a similar problem with the SWI adapter on my '09, and the website and instructions were no help

dont quote me on this, but I thought on my '09 the wire was orange/?

i remember the programming being pretty easy, and all of the controls stayed how they were stock. you have the option to alter the functionality of all the buttons, but I did not mess with that.

i'll try to look into this soon so that i may be able to come back with a better answer
