I bought a FM transmitter and I listen to interferences in the radio. I thought it was the cigarette lighter maybe in short circuit, but when I tried it on an underground garage the interference is very low, almost no noise. I changed it to another FM tansmitter from another brand but again the same problem with almost every radio frequency I tried. I live in a big city with lots of radio stations... My cd in the stereo doesn't work, maybe that could be the reason? I have a KJ from 2006 crd 2.8.

do you mean you are using an FM transmitter attached to your ipod (or other music player) to listen to the ipod through the radio?

I had one of these a few years back, and i hated it. cut in and out and was bad quality sound. maybe technology has improved, but youre better off with a hard connection to your stereo such as an aux, RCA, or USB input

Yup, tis the plague of the transmitter. Unless it connects directly to your antenna wire which is expensive... After market head unit is the best way to go, 50 bux can get you what you really want. 100 will get you a nice stereo... oh and they go UP from there
