My left foglight is out, and after changing the bulb I've had no success. My immediate thought is a fuse but it seems to me that a fuse would effect more than just one fog light. Anybody have any ideas?

so you didn't check the left fuse at the fuse block? Your fog light doesn't work because:

bad bulb
bad day
no power

If you already replaced the bulb, you're left with either talking your fog light though it's problems or checking power. Go with whatever you feel is most effective.
