Depends on how you want to do it. I'm assuming you have a KK since your radio was made in 2011. I just hook mine up with a mini-stereo to mini-stereo cable into the Aux jack on the front. It works pretty well, but doesn't allow me to control my iPod with the radio controls. You can buy a kit through MOPAR that connects to the back of the head and runs into the glove box allowing you to control your iPod with your stereo controls. |

I'd like to run everything from the radio so I can just leave it in the glove box. |

Your best bet is the Mopar one then. Try looking online for one first, if I remember correctly its kind of pricey if you get it from a dealer. |

Well the dealer was no help. I'm amazed nobody can tell me anything about the uconnect module location. |

I need to know what I need to connect my ipod to my radio. ![]() ![]() AFAIK, the module I'm using from USA Spec will work with the stock radio, provided the unit has the connection for a rear mounted CD changer. Plugs into the rear CD connector, and into the main port of your iPod. Even allows you to use the steering wheel radio controls to control the iPod. The unit I have works for 2002 - 2006, but I'm sure they have one for the KK. |

I think it plugs into the white receiver on the left side of the radio. I'm pretty sure that's where it connected on my Dodge. Are you looking for the MOPAR one, or an aftermarket? |

Ok, I made some calls and was able to determine that there are 2 different kinds of iPod connectors made by Mopar. One is plug and play right into the back of the unit. The other replaces the wire harness with a new one and adds a module for the iPod. My contact believes the RBZ radio is of the plug and play variety, but he wasn't sure. He said call, or go to, any dealership and give them your VIN and they should be able to tell you which one works. He also said that a software update is required if your Jeep was built before 6/11, otherwise your iPod will not work. If you're looking to go aftermarket, I can't find anything on how many pins the connector is. If it does require the addition of a module and a new harness, maybe the USA Spec one mentioned before will work. IMO I would go with the Mopar one. |

I called a dealer with my vin and they are saying the part I need is 82212160. The problem is there is nowhere to plug it in. Someone said the uconnect is located behind the sub which does me no good. |

What was told to me is that the kit that replaces the wiring harness includes a connector in the new harness for the iPod adapter to plug in to. Also, you may want to try a different dealership. The iPod connector was a factory option with the radio, they must have seen it before
