Hoping you mean "Peaked & Tweaked".......

A decent setup is whatever fits your vehicle.
Personally, I'd stick with Cobra or Uniden for the radio.
They've been around forever, and very reliable.
If you're stuck for space, a Cobra model 19 or similar works well.
If you want a "full size" radio, you can't miss with a Cobra 29 or 148.

Antennas can be a tricky thing. Just remember one thing.... size does matter.
The smaller magnet mount, or 3 foot "Firestik" antennas generally give very poor performance, and are difficult to match.

I would suggest a K40 or Wilson 1000 if magnet mount is your choice.
A 4 foot 'Firestik' or other such tunable fixed antenna works nicely. A 1/4 wave (102 inch) fiberglass or steel whip is the most efficient,
and tunes easily.

"Peaked and tweaked" ...... not necessary, but very nice "IF" you find a good technician to do the work.
Generally, this will lock the transmit & receive frequencies together, and tune the radio for maximum power a modulation output.
Basic work should only cost about $40 - $50. There is also "custom" work that can be done, depending on the radio.... but this will cost more.
Again, get a good tech before you proceed with this step.

I had a Wilson Lil' Wil and it was darn good, gave it to my dad on his 07 1500 Ram Sport 4x4 and it worked even better, was talking miles in Georgia. I upgraded to a Wilson 1000 and the performance has been ok, nothing like th eLil'Wil. The 1000 has a longer antenna and I have found poses a problem with trees hangin over roads and low bridges. Most folks with Wilson 1000 or higher have a crooked tip on the antenna and I now know why.

I've been riding with a wilson Flex 4 for the last 3 years or so, and have smacked it on who knows what and had it bent back far enough to the roof that it bent my original antenna mount, and have yet to have a single issue with it

have it screwed into a WQD disconnect from Hi-Q
