I have a champion winch that I want to add a second switch so I can wrap the cable my self. The switch that is in it is in the cab. It has the solenoid built into it. How can I go about wiring in that switch to line cable on it. It will no have any tension on it while I use that switch. It is wired now with hot and ground off battery and hot and ground from switch to winch. Thanks

Don't know anything about the Champion Winch, but you should be able to wire a second set the same way the first set is wired.

I have both an in cab switch and a front bumper winch control socket. Here is the thread for my project.
