Hey Guys,
My names Isaiah, and while I've been continously searching and reading this website for the past few months, I just became a member. I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty Freedom Edition, that I love. I love the looks, size, practicality - and after putting on 12K miles, the reliability! After I get it paid off, I plan on doing things such as lifting it a few inches, and some mild engine/exhaust upgrades.

The sound system truly isn't that bad, but with as much time as I spend in the vehicle, appreciate a nice sound system, I would really like to make some upgrades. However, that's where I need some help - I'm completely clueless.

First off, I'd really like to add a couple subwoofers (Haha, I know, I Know). From what I've gathered, to do this correctly, I'll have to change the head unit, along with adding an amplifier specifically for the subs.

Here's my question:
As tacky as it may sound to some, I really like the flip-out units. My friends have had them in the past, and besides looking pretty neat, I really liked all the features that they had on them. I'd also like to find one with bluetooth. Can anyone reccomend a good head flip out head unit? Or at least a good brand? Or how many amps/channels should I be looking for?

How much does changing the door (stock) speakers help? Does it make a noticeable improvement in the sound, and is it hard to do?

Also, any advice on subs such as what size, what wattage, or what amp to go with, is also appreciated.
