 Post subject: RB1 to later nav (REC,RER)

The connectors are the same or do they require more cabling (connectors)? I looked at a site (Chrysler?)that had a complete description,technical,capability for the RB1 radio,just can't find anymore,maybe this exists for the later models REC,RER etc,anyone familiar with this? Just thinking that would me a nice upgrade for back-up camera capability, I know it would require modification to the dash,but if the cables would plug in it would look nice.

unless you know how to do a work around for the CAN BUS system it wont work ...over on jeepkj there was a guy that put a mygig in his kj all i know it was not a plug in play install

Is anyone familiar with the site for the RB1 description,I had it once,may have been a Chrysler or Jeep; iam old?
