The console shift light is dead on my 2006 Liberty. I have been unable to find any info on how to diagnose this problem or remove & replace the bulb.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

I don't know if the '06 would be similar to my '08, but I recently fixed mine. Here is my thread that explains how I figured it out...

the cover pops right off, should just replace the bulb in there.

Thanks. But strangely, the light has started working on its own now. It was dead yesterday, working today. Weird!
