Is there such a thing as a 1.5 Din head unit anymore?? Ive searched all over and havent found anything. I am sick of my factory head units radio no longer working, the ipod adapter thing making some robotic sounding strange noises, and having no way of getting my android devices to be able to play music through it. Those along with a bluetoof adapter so i can do hands free are the only features im looking for. I want 1.5 din or 2din if there is a an adapter/replacement bezel type deal out there. the single dins mangled in there always look wack to me. thanks for any help my fellow jeepers!

I had an Alpine 1.5 DIN in my Neon, and I have not seen any since those. You may get lucky and find a used one on eBay.

I found this unit on eBay last week, I also want to replace mine, but won't be until later in the year.

Just seeing this thread now... I've got Insane Audio's TJ1001 in my dash. Full 3D Navigation with topography... onboard SD card, bluetooth, dvd player, etc... fits perfectly in a TJ.

Yeah, for $1250 for the radio.

I bought the Chinese knockoff. Love it

Yeah.. I take a lot of road trips and wanted online support. From reading other forums, I understand the kockoffs don't have map updates. I have to admit, I'm pretty stoked with the TJ1001 even though the price is pretty crazy. The 3D topography is great for offroad nav. That and it's a hoot having digital TV in my Jeep.

Knockoffs use I go maps. $150 for software rights purchase. And considering they also support Garmin and tom tom software, being windows c.e...well, I'm not spending $1250 when if can spend $400 now then under $200 later for licensed product when the maps do go out of date.
