I just ordered a nice 100 watt PA for my cb. Do I need an amp for it? I'm not sure what to look for. Here's the PA

Yes, your pa is driven at max 20watts, so if you want it to be loud you have to get a speaker with a pre amp or another amp. I used a 150 watt rms sub woofer amp from amazon....30 bucks.

I think I found a better one it's a 100 watt and the reviews are a lot better. Think this will work for what I need?

Yea should work, i have the leads coming out of my cb pa output to the input of my amp (not rca) but the old school way. Then a trigger wire and power lines, then wires to the speaker. Pretty easy install. My uses a horn from a stadium that the bell is cut down.

I'm not sure what you mean by an amp with speaker level imputs but the one I posted a picture says it has

2-Channel MOSFET Power Amplifier
Remote Subwoofer Level Control Included
100W x 2 Max Power
100W x 2 RMS Power
50W x 2 Max Bridged Power

Here is the link. I just want to make sure this thing is what I need before I order it.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004S50ZB2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

I attempted to draw a modified wiring diagram from the unit's manual. I think I've done it right.....hopefully :dizzy:

Yea pretty much, you inputs i used one side, as the cb is mono. But theres a trigger wire that needs to be hooked up too as well as a pos and neg. That trigger turns on the amp.

What would I connect the trigger wire to? Would I run the (+) wire directly to the batt thru a 10amp fuse and then run the trigger switch to the acc wire on an independent switch?

My full wiring diagram looks like this. So basically should I change the PA so only the LEFT is hooked up and as for the (+) on the amp I should attach an inline 10amp fuse and run it to my battery and run a wire from the trigger wire to the acc wire on my independent switch?

Sry If it's hard to read :(

Normally the trigger wire would hook up to your blue wire on the head unit. But in this case hook it up to a ingition or your switch type of 12 v source.
