Hey all,
I had a little electrical issue with my ol jeepster a while back. Somehow my radio blew out. Strangely everything else works...cds, ipod.
I am over the whole bangin system stuff. Been there, over it. I just want something to power my factory speakers and if i someday upgrade those do a decent job at powering those as well. I dont want to add amps and all that.
The main features I want:
- play cds (yeah i still like to have it just in case)
- an aux input so i can have my old ipod hooked up
- bluetooth so I can
- hands free calling from my android phone. would be nice to be able to answer the call from the HU....not sure how this works on these aftermarket units
- stream music from any type of phone
- stream pandora from any type of phone
- would be nice to have the ability to match the lighting color to stock

$150 is max for me

This is what I am about to buy. Seems like the best deal. Just wanted to see what you guys thought and if i missed another unit that is a better deal. I havent looked at this audio stuff in over ten years so i am totally out of touch now

thanks
Sam

I like how you used crutchfield, great customer service. And for your needs that you've listed that unit will be more then enough I actually have a lower end model of that one without the usp input. It works great and gets the job done beautifully.

No problem, and the best part about them is that they give you most of the extras you need for free.

I just put the same radio in my Liberty this weekend and I love it. I have always had Pioneer Radios and never had a problem. I do have one issue with the radio and that is the display. It is very bright at night (with the dimmer function on) if it is on any color but red. The dimmer control for the dash does not work with this radio. I paid 125.00$ at Wal-Mart and about 15$ on dash kit and wiring harness.
