 Post subject: Rear power jack not working

Hey people's newbie here I have a 2002 jeep liberty. I noticed I have a rear power jack that doesn't work I tried with the car running nothing no power I've checked all my fuses inside the cab as well as outside the cab any suggestions would greatly be appreciated

Use a multimeter to test whether or not it is getting power (12V). If it is, then the jack is bad or the device you are trying to run is broken. New power receptacles run about $5 at Advanced Auto Parts. If it isn't getting power at all, then the problem must be up front somewhere.

I've checked all the fuses up front and I used a tester on the jack itself where would the wiring be located mabey I have a bad wire

Pull the plastic panel out and check the wires to the socket if its not powered. Someone may have used it to power something else or it may have came loose.
