Anyone know if there is a way to get a set of auto up and auto down front window switches? It seems to me that the "auto" only means down on my front door power window switches, but maybe they're supposed to do both? If not, does anyone know of a way to make them work both directions? All the other vehicles I've ever had with "auto" switches have been both "up" and "down". Hoping to find something in the Chrysler parts bin maybe from a different vehicle? |

Can anyone at least confirm they only "auto" down? |

They're auto down only. I believe it even says so in the owner's manual... |

Hmm, I wonder if any mopar siblings have auto up and down? This is my first vehicle from that group of makes, so I don't know too much about where similar parts might be found. I am wondering if maybe the particular switch design is exclusive to the Liberty, or like GM many switchgear things are shared between models. Anyone have any ideas? I realize it's a small thing but I have another car that has the Auto function and it is something I always catch myself doing, before realizing that I need to hold the switch up for the motors to actuate. |

Ran across this searching for problems with my rear windows. Years ago when I did car audio and stereo installs there were modules you could install called Twindows. These would add the auto up, down or up and down to power windows. I did not search to see if they were still available but would assume someone would make them aftermarket. |

I hate to quote someone from nearly a year ago but even when I have 2 windows down and roll them up at the same time there is an extremely high power draw at idle but if you hit the gas and rev it up it seems they go back up at what is and I'm assuming is supposed to be the normal speed. Would a new alternator fix this? |
