I was rudely awoken last night because the horn on my Liberty came on all by itself. Had to disconnect the battery to get it to shut off and then started looking for the fuse which I knew was on the fuse panel located on the drivers side dash. When I pulled the cover off I could see that some water had gotten in there(it had rained last night). Long story short...this morning after it dried out everything is fine. My question is if anyone knows where the water could be coming from? I took the cowling off and nothing is evident.

Any Ideas?

Thanks in advance

Do you have a sunroof?
If you have a sunroof, there are tubes that run from the sunroof down the a-pillars behind the plastic for drainage. I recently had the same issue where the tubes started leaking. The tubes were clogged with debris up at the sunroof tracks.

The water will over flow and follow the tubes down into the fuse box getting it wet, thus shorting the circuits.
