Hey everyone. I just picked up a cobra 19dx CB. I was thinking of going with a 3' firestik entena. Anyone have any better suggestions?

3 ft. is OK.... 4 ft is better. Easier to match, and you'll be able to talk farther.
Shorty antennas are notorious for having roughly 30% less range.
1/4 wave is best, but most folks don't want 102" whip hanging around out back.
4 footer is a good general purpose that won't cause you a bunch of headaches.

I know I'm late to the party, but I ran a 2 foot FireStik and it worked just fine. Had a few miles of highway reception and no problem when wheeling. Just ordered a 36" whip with a magnetic mount though so I'm upgrading a bit
