Anyone done this? How hard is it? I love it in our Commander but no CRD Liberty I could find in the area had it so I want to add it now.

That concerns me. We have UConnect in our Commander and it's great, but it was factory installed using the stereo speakers and built-in mic. How does the Motorola integrate? Will it mute the radio?

Muting the radio is the one thing that I have not figuered out, it has the mute function, but I have never been able to determine what pin on the Mopar radio does the mute, and believe me I have asked

Radio Mute is pin 15 on the 22 pin connector

it's a plug and play operation with the Mopar U-Connect. If you want the mirror controls I'd imagine that there would be some splicing etc. I love my U-Connect. I had one of the guys in the Dealership I worked for install it for me and he had it done in about 20mins. It is truley plug and play.
