clarify...

defroster heat element or the quick disconnect?

if its the element just buy a new one rather then trying to fiddle with the current one.

if its the quick disconnect rough up the glass and jb weld it on.

nah. the wire doesn't get hot enough to do any damage. and since its the connector, it takes awhile for it to heat up since its not an element, and simply a "distribution" block for the element.

They sell special adhesive/epoxy that is conducive specifically for this application. I believe it's copper impregnated. Any auto parts store should carry it. Usually near the rear view mirror glue.
