What amperage to use on a mini fuse and is a relay necessary for some small LED pods? |

Using a relay on any switched circuit is always a good idea. Give one more layer of protection against short circuits. There should be a current rating on the lights from the manufacturer. LED's draw less current than other styles of lights, so you won't need a 20 amp like you would with a set of KC's. Depending on the size of the pod (number of LED's), I'd say a 10 amp fuse is a good start, but follow the manfacturers recommendation. |

I'm using a 5A for an 18W LED rear light which should be plenty; so if it does trip it's going to trip nice and low without risk of damaging anything more expensive than a couple of cent fuse |
