Looking to replace the yellow hued lights with a something whiter and brighter... Not trying to break the bank. Any suggestions? |

What bulbs do you have in there now? Whiter is not too hard, although most "alternative" bulbs go full blue-tint, which is actually less light output. Brighter is going to be a factor of having either more voltage applied to the bulb, or one of higher wattage, both have downsides. The Phillips Extreme bulbs are a bit brighter, more neutral white with less yellow tint. There are a number of HID/LED retrofits, but those are all technically illegal and have pros and cons there too. |
