Hello all! Im driving a 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD. I'm just curious If anyone has converted their fog lights over to being driving lights? Meaning that the fog lights would come on and off with the key. My last car, A VW Jetta TDI, headlights turned on with the key and off with the key. I believe I had fewer people pull out in front of me because they would notice my lights. I live in Arizona and fog isn't exactly an issue, so my fog lights are never used. I know some people are thinking, just turn on the fog lights manually , but here is the problem. With the fog lights the tail lights also come on, stereo also dims and becomes hard to see in the daylight. Then there is the issue of forgetting to turn them on or off. I was thinking that it couldn't be that complicated to tap into a 12v Keyed circuit, add a relay, and wire it to the fog lights. Anyone with suggestions as to how to best wire this would be appreciated. Thanks! Dave |

easy just get this and use a keyed hot fuse tap cut wires to light and wire them up with this https://www.amazon.com/Wiring-Harness-N ... 9202536634 |

That's pretty much what I had in mind, but I would have purchased all of the items separately. I'm sure this will be faster and much cheaper. Thanks again! |

Check the specs. before you buy - if it's not too late. 40a fuse & relay 2 x 200w lamps 20 gauge wire? - I don't think so. Not even for your OE fogs! |
