Anyone here have any problems with their Liberty CD players? Mine will make a tapping noise. Sometimes the CD will not eject because of this. Weird?

Anyone know where to find the faceplate if I decide to replace the stereo? 2003 Liberty Sport

I experience a rapid clicking noise sometimes when I start the KJ, mostly after I have played and ejected a CD on the previous drive. Since I mostly listen to AM talk radio, the CB or 2 meter rig it isn't a big deal to me. As for what is causing it, I'm like Sherlock Holmes in a dark, empty room - no clue.

hmmmmmmmmmm very very strange. It happens more than I'd like to admit, not happy about it, but its better than the annoying beeping coming from behind my stereo in my old mustang I had before the jeep......

beep beep beep beep beep....rofl

I found out that it's the sound of creeping death for a cd player. My first one did that a bunch, wouldn't spit the cd out, then the cd kept playing when the radio was on and the controls wouldn't work(so if you wanted to hear a certain song you had to time it) The dealer replaced it under warranty but now my second one is starting up.

Anywhere with after market radios should have the faceplate as well.
