OK folks, here is the poll for our August contest. We have some nice entries and it may take a bit to decide but that's OK, just remember to vote by the end of the month.

Now get those mice buttons tuned up and ready to click 8)

A few of us LOST Downunder boys are going to be back at Fraser Island this weekend. We'll see if we can take another shot in the same spot but with 5 KJ's this time..

I'd like to state publicly that this months contest is racist against people who don't live in coastal areas.

Yes, but proper grammar is not funny...

Reverend Al Sharpton defines racism as a bias with the power to enforce it on others. He used this definition to argue that only white people could be racist because they had all the power. How things have changed since his appearance on the Morton Downey Jr Show 20 odd years ago (that show rocked).

Anyway, I was using this with a bit of poetic license to make a joke cause that's the way I roll.

If the state you live in is the shape of a square or rectangle, chances are, there's no beach nearby. Hence, the "fly-over" states are being oppressed by east/west side.

It just occured to me this is far too much explanation for a joke......I'll go sit in the corner now.

JL - but you've been back in Florida long enough to have some good beach pictures - not to mention last year Troyster had some good pix from a Lake in Utah -lakes have beaches too.

So it's biased- if your imagination is limited.

Fraser Island just make great pictures easier.

Yes they do - in fact I tried to be as clear as possible on that point:

But yes, oceans do tend to lend themselves nicely to beach pics...
