I was kinda hoping somebody would post up before I posted mine.

Gotta be some in this forum helping to take care of our trails and wheeling spots?

That's what she said

Not to mention, not everybody is a martyr going out of their way to get pictures of themselves picking up trash on the trail. Sometimes we just do it, and don't bother with pictures;)

Sounds like how corporations donate a couple hundred grand to a charity, and spend 7 figures telling everybody that they did...

Too true. If we do end up putting more trees in our yard this year, I'll post some pics.

Looking forward to seeing what others have done though.

ummm yeah...... no sense in shining a positive light on the off road community. Let those tree-hugging greenie hippies that want to take your trail access away Only have pics of us tearing up the earth for our own selfish pleasures while giving nothing back.

Seriously, we Need to start taking pics of what we do to give back. It Is a big deal and needs to me noticed. We are losing trails faster than ever now and things are not going to get better unless we engage and get recognized for the positive things we do.

I agree with Jayme, I do it and never think about it, never take pictures which I guess is what we should be doing.
I never do the MAJOR clean up days due to everyone just wanting their picture taken it seems like.
Owning 3 parcels of land out in the country I am picking up other peoples junk all the time as my roads in are " great parking spots" so I get used to picking junk up, so when I am wheeling same thing pick it up and continue on!
No pics but guess I will have to start , maybe this weekend

Sorry. I was grumpy and had just read about more attacks on our public lands so I am just really tired of this crap. :?

I know most of us always make an effort every time we go out and we do our part to take care of our trails. What this photo contest was/is about is trying to get everyone to organize more to go out in groups and do trail maintenance/clean ups, etc. and to document what we are doing.

I was hoping that there had been some of those events that other clubs might have gotten involved in and that we would get some participation in here from them. I am pretty sure that the AZ folks have done so, I hope they have some pics to show off.

I personally wish every club would document what they do to help and then spread that info/pics all over the net on every off road site there is so we can start to show others what it is that we are about. We have to understand that we have to start doing so, nobody else is going to shine a positive light on the off road community. Maybe it would also help to get more people involved in getting involved.

having the jeep in the picture would be nice.. If you look at JJ's pictures from a while back, he is using the KJ to pull stuff around.... Or it can be like GregScuba's where he shows the trash on top of the kj
