OK folks, here is the promised schedule for part of 2006 for our RotM contest. I`ll post a brief explanation of each one to explain what is to be expected and if you have any Q`s, just ask. Any suggestions are welcome as well. For the pics, just be a little creative.

Hope you like the ides. :)

Mike

January: Snow - Self explanatory. The more snow, the better, right? ;)

February: Flex - Get those pics of your jeep doing it`s best flex! The Jeep wave is a plus!

March: Mud - Pics of your Jeep in mud, full of mud, etc. The more mud, the better! I don`t want to see a pic of just a little mud sprayed up from the wheels now! ;)

April: Water - Your pic of your Jeep in any water. Be creative!

May: Trees/Forest - This is a good opportunity for the those nice springtime pics you just got in the woods!

June: Jeepin` with your Pet - The only requirement is that your pet is in the pic with your Jeep!

July: Patriotic Theme. Use your creativity and imagination and post a pic with your jeep that in some way shows your patriotic spirit!

August: Beachin` Theme. A pic of your Jeep on the Beach.

September: Climbing Theme. A pic of your jeep climbing/crawling on ANYTHING. Snow bank, sand dune, big rocks, vehicles, just use your best shot! The more wild and outrageous, the better, right?! ;)

October : Halloween - Pic of your Jeep in a halloween themed setting. The more creative and spookier, the better!

November : Fall Foliage - Pic of your Jeep with some awesome fall scenery. Some of the best scenery pics come out of this contest!

December : Xmas/Holiday Theme - A pic with your Jeep and anything Xmas/Holiday themed. A great opportunity to show off your creativity and holiday spirit!

How about "Jeeping with Pets" for June before it gets too hot outside! Only requirement would be that the Jeep and the Pet(s) would have to be in the same picture!

Awesome idea! I`ll make it so. :)

I`ll gladly consider more ideas if anyone wants to suggest them. I will say, however, that I reserve the right to choose to use it or not. :)

Hmm, don`t think that would go over well, buuuuuut, what does everyone think of a "Best Trail Damage" month (which I think you are hinting about when you mentioned trails)? Please input! :)

I supposed we could give it a shot, as long as the "ooops" happend while you were sober and wheeling legally. Hopefully we won't be able to fill all the spots on this one!

Everyone who gets trail damage is proud of it! :P

Just ask Chris about those moving trees and moving rocks of Paragon...

Yeh I could see how that wouldn't go over so well...but I got the idea from me almost tipping my KJ the other day. I look back at that and laugh, and think other's probably have similar incidents that make for a good laugh. I didn't think anyone was gonna want to post 80-mph highway accidents :( I think making it just "offroad mishaps" would keep it appropriate.
Maybe it was just a bad idea
Halloween theme would be cool, too.

Yea lets do a Halloween theme for Oct. I'm a shoe in for that one. I manage a Haunted House in KC, so I could stack my costumed employees up and run over them. It would be like my KJ kicked the boogiemans stupid.

Halloween theme sounds good to me! The only thing is you`ll have to get it done early in the month...;)

It'll be too late to get any Moab pics (i.e. Kane Creek) in April's monthly competition.

Bummer.

We can do a beachin` theme in August if people want although beachin` theme could also fit in Aprils water theme though.

What about a "Down on the farm" theme for November? That's around harvest time and any shots of KJs on a farm, in a field, or having some sort of harvest theme.
