HI!!
My 05 CRD started to loose coolant back on May 15 at the rate of one pint for 100 miles. No drips, no white smoke, no smell. Performed pressure test, culprit the water pump, dripings absorved by the skid plate sound insulation. June 2 dealer ordered a water pump, estimated time of arrival June 29. Today chnage the time of arrival for July 15. Has any body in Maryland or nearby have a waterpump for me to buy, or to swap when my arrives? My vacation plans of going offroading in SW Colorado will have to change. Leaving July 3 for two weeks. Can any one help?

Thanks.

I have one that I would be willing to sell you, how does $120 shipped sound? I'd even overnight it to you for that price.

This is the first water pump failure that I'm aware of. How many miles do you have on your rig?

Water pump leaking into the timing cover at 81k+

Ordered water pump from moparpartsamerica 30 May and they have said that delivery will be first week of August. Called Customer support and they have shipped 20 units to fill orders to be delivered on or about 15 July with additional units to be shipped in August. These 20 units will be shipped to; first, dealers with vehicles in their shop for repair, second, to dealers with orders and third, to online orders. :furious:

Luckily, I have some alternate transportation but it's not as fun!

The leak started on May 15, June 2 placed order with dealer with ETA of June 29. On June 28 ETA changed to "mid July"??? I complained to the dealer of the lack of intarest. I have relatives in Europe that could have bought it for me and shipped in less time. I have a 1962 Triumph TR3A and get spare parts in a week or less. I am starting to built a cache of spare parts myself. Don't want, or don't need to go trough this again.

I also have alternate means of transportation, but that is not the point. In the past they have offered or supplied me with "loaners" up to a weeks time, but AF (After Fiat) they did not even offered.
