A Blessed Christmas to All. I can't even begin to say how thankful I am for the members of this forum. The knowledge and helpfulness of this forum have been a godsend for me. It has truly made owning CRD A more enjoyable experience, even with the issues with the CRD they are less of an issue when you know what the cause us and can easily address it.

Heh, is that a navigation radio? Did it come factory in your CRD? If not, where did you get it? I want a radio like that!

Yep, thats the RB1 navigation radio. Found it on Ebay at Park Jeep and contacted them directly. The one I bought was "new in a box" for $425. I also bought the IPod intergration kit for another $125 and that gave me the ability to use the IPod in the vehicle and it uses the factory radio controlls and shows the song/title on the radio display, it also shows song/title for Sirius. Great unit, I find it esier to use as a GPS navigation unit in the vehicle than some of the others like Garmin.

did u have to do anything special to get it to work, or was the new NAV radio plug and play?

Also, is there a model number for that radio?

Yes, it is pretty much plug and play. The model number of the radio is the RB1.

The antenna comes with stickey tape and goes up under the dashboard

Ha - This thread just cost me money. I had been looking at aftermarket radios for my wife's libby. None of them would have looked 'clean' - way too much bling in the aftermarket these days.! Never saw the RB1! Went on ebay and bought one brand new! Will get here just in time for her Birthday :)

:D
