I had an early morning meeting with an associate this morning at a local Starbuck's. As I left and started walking to the CRD I see this guy walking up out of the corner of my eye.

"Hey pardon me. I just wanted to stand here and listen to the CRD when you started it up. I had never seen one in person before."

Turns out hes a former TDI owner from CA who really wanted a CRD but of course couldn't buy one in CA. Ended up with a 4 banger Escape. Had a nice chat and he liked the sound of the CRD.

the CRD sounds great I love driving with the windows open and no music just to listen to the engine. I love it. Oh and letting the turbo spool up and then letting go of the throttle so people hear the whoosh is even better.
