 Post subject: SEGR circuit tester

For those who don't have a function generator to test their SEGR device, I made this simple alternative.

I used a linear slide potentiometer but any will do.
I used this for those who don't have an oscilloscope, so you can approximate duty cycle by potentiometer position:

I'm a geek by trade, and I like to think I'm a pretty smart feller, but I have no idea what any of that means.

Am I the only one who didn't get any education in lines and squigglies in school?

Not by a long shot. It's quite specialized knowledge.

Hey - I know what all those squiggles mean - if I dug out my notes I could probably even write a Differential equation for them.

I just don't have a clue how to make one.
