the problem seem to oil blowbye from the egr system being reintroduce into the intercooler hose and coating the the egr, if i get the gist of the previous threads right.is there any product out there you could spray in the hose,like a kerosene based solvent, and break up that coated oil to eliminate it with out harming the system. thanks in advance

Yes, that will clean the oil out. But will not fix the problem. You need a crank case vent filter. This will filter out the oil BEFORE it gets to the intercooler lines. I have a home built one but others are using a Mann Provent. With the amout of oil and water I see in mine, I cann't belive a CCV was not a stock item from factory.

What's funny is everyone assumes there is no CCV on the CRD, the CCV is sitting right on top of the valve cover. It is just poorly designed and for some reason the various engine mfg's keep using the same type. It's that black hocky puck looking thing on the back side of valve cover. It is suppose to act as a both a oil/air seperator and preassure equalizer for some reason. Small engine like this doesn't have that kind of airflow problem as neither did the VW TDI diesel.
