Yes, I would love to have my March issue... its been in the bookstores for 2 weeks.

Why don't they ever do anything for the Jeeps in that mag??

They did an article on the CRD jeep last year - loved the motor, didn't like the ground clearance. They now have a new editor and he has stated that they might do more non pickup truck diesel stories if he doesn't get hate mail about it. Maybe if we emailed him and let him know that we like more than just the Duramax, PSD and Cummins articles they might add more.

OH I see. Well after the very first issue all I saw were the "Big 3" pickups, and I immediately wrote them a letter and asked about the rest of the diesels in the world and if they were going to ever cover those. And I haven't bought a copy of the mag since. So I guess I missed the Jeep CRD article. I'll give them another shot.

I'm sure they will at some point. My guess would be atleast when Edge comes out with their programer for the Jeep since its a major advertiser.

Can't forget that "hopping up" diesel p/u's has been getting hot and heavy for several years and its going to take a while for others to catch up.

Not suprisingly, its geared toward P/U's since thats probably 95% of all diesel hop-ps at this point are for p/u's. (my WAG on the %)

My crystal ball thinks that if DC is successful with its roll-out of 5-7 new diesel models and a few others join in*, I'm sure DP will respond accordingly and/or another mag will start up that caters more towards diesel cars and light/small p/u's , etc.

* from the various sources I've read, looks like BMW with have a Diesel suv by 08',Audi most likely will put a diesel in their up coming SUV, Nissan may use the V6 version of the powerstroke for its Titan, Honda has a killer 2.2L diesel for the accord, Toyota has a car diesel engine ready to go, and while GM seems to be reluctant to commit to diesels,,,,,,,,if the market demand is there GM has some Euro diesels they could use. And if Volkswagen had half a brain, they'd put the 2.0 diesel out of the Passat into the Jetta and put the 2.5L V6 TDI in the Passat. (my rant
