Our 14000# 03 Chev service truck died on the highway today. Good thing I decided to take my CRD along to carry the control panel to the jobsite. I hooked up to the Chev and pulled it about a mile to the off ramp and to a gas station. 55 MPH real easy with the overdrive locked out. You think I exceeded the 5000# towing capacity??

Next time remember the CRD *AND* The digital camera!

Well, you were only really *pulling* 14000# - there was very little weight *on* the Jeep.

The biggest problem in this situation I would imagine would be your breaking capacity.

Nice. And I'll second the motion for a digital camera in the glove box of every Jeep. I'd like to see a pict of your Liberty chugging along with that big Chevy service truck in tow.
