Well ours had right at 20,000 miles on it and still had the original filter. I use the same schedual for changing filters that I use on the Dodge. 6,500 oil change intervals, every other oil change I change the fuel filter, every forth oils change I would have changed the fuel and air filter.
That's conservative by all means!!!
The tec said both the intake hose from the Intercooler to the intake and the hose from the turbo to the intercooler would suck shut. That tells me that the turbo was not boosting, correct? Now I'm not a rocket scientist, but that is what I find hard to believe unless the computer went to limp mode and shut down the Variable pitch on the Turbo to stop boost.
Sounded like BS to me but I just let them play their games.
On a side note. TS performance that is big in the Dodge, Ford , and Chevy market has been playing with I believe an 05 liberty that runs in the low 13's in the quarter. I am going to contact them because they have a power box that works with the liberty. I want to see if they can possiblly set a parametter that will keep the EGR closed. If I have luck I'll let you all know.
Have any of you tried to put one onf TS's Boxes on?
Here's the link:
http://www.tsperformance.com/new_product.asp and the box is about half way down the page.
