:x I have had 2 EGR valves replaced as well as having the trans rebuit. My trans has a bad shutter at 60mph (just started today) and the check engine light has come back on. I really like my CRD but, if this keeps up it will have to go.

More and more I'm seeing reports of transmission shudder and EGR problems at the same time. It's just got to be the EGR that is shuddering the system in general...

Mine acts up occassionally, then goes away. Just hit 12k miles today on a 2005 model built on 6/20/05.

Have 14K on my '05, yet to see the EGR problem (or a CEL) but had a Provent and ran Biodiesel blends from @ 5K on. Mine started screwing up @ 10K (oil consumption) with trans issues starting @ 12K or about the time the weather turned warm.

One BIG question. Have our brothers in England, Australia, and Europe had all of these problems???
