general question, the turn valve on the passenger side of the radiator, does it just turn or does it come out as I have read in other post elsewhere?

As you turn it, it will twist out and can be removed.

So it appears this may be air. But I cannot get the dang coolant to bleed. I installed the "t" on the heater core side but now I am having the heat only on acceleration

You have air locks because you have combustion gases getting into you cooling systems due to a failed head gasket.

I believe that you still have air in the heater core.

Remove both heater hoses and begin filling one of the hoses with coolant allowing it to flow through to the other side, pushing air out. Re-attach the hoses and now start the car allow it to reach normal operating temperature and then briefly open the "T" to let any air escape and quickly close it.

Now see if you're getting constant heat and report back
