What are you experiencing in turbo lag? Mine runs great but have to be careful pulling out into traffic its just not there for a second or two then puffs a little smoke and takes off. No play in turbo and looks great just seems to have a bit excessive lag

Are you at altitude? This is how mine has behaved since moving to UT.

Do you have the stock factory tuning? Mine acted like that sometimes when stock.

With the Stage IV Hot tune by Yeti I have installed, I have no noticeable turbo lag. The boost comes on very quickly.
Am about 200+ on elevation.
When I press the throttle, it goes and I never see an black smoke.
It is so quick, when on wet pavement I have to feather the throttle some when first taking off or it will spin both rear tires and try to get a little sideways with the positraction rear end. :D

Do you have a way to read boost psi?

You either have a boost leak or stuck turbo vanes.
Or a faulty vacuum solenoid.

Obviously check for leaks, but if you are in Vegas it could be your IAT's. My Jeep tends to get pretty lethargic when it gets above 90F out and my IAT's start getting into the 100's. Plus the MAP sensors tend to get heat soaked and feed the ECU some pretty crazy IAT's. Ill see 140F climbing out of Salt Lake City on an 90F day when I have the A/C on. I know its probably BS when I can get out and touch the CAC and its cold(mine is aftermarket aluminum and mounted in front of the AC condenser.)

There are tables in the tune that make adjustments to the boost(among other things, probably injection timing too) based on IAT.

Also in Vegas and Altitude IS a factor...At 110 F, our density altitude is over 5000ft. That is what our engines think they are at.

FWIW, I have the full torque GDE Eco tune and I get a but of turbo lag starting from a stop also..

Cheers
