I was wondering what brand timing belt came from the factory. I was going to change mine since I bought my Jeep used and it has no service records. I opened it up and it looks like there is a new Goodyear belt on it and everything has been changed already. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I'm at 99,000 miles.

Not sure what belt used from factory dont think I could read any of mine but the most popular replacement belt is a Gates T336.

The continental belt is at better than the gates and avoid the Goodyear gator back. The continental has the back reinforcement and Kevlar like the belts most manufactures use, we sell hem at work and the best place for you to get them is autozone. They are about the same price as the gates. The part number is 4061130

That's what I would have done if I already had it all opened up.

My66dodge, why avoid the Gatorback? I have one on my Cummins but it is an accessory belt.

OEM was a Goodyear, but they are all made by Gates.
