Hi all,

for a 2002 KJ 2.5 CRD I am looking for the 4 bushing for the 3 supports of the front differential ,which have the following part numbers : 52059473AE - 52059472AC - 52059475AD
it seems that 2 in particular are not found and are no longer produced ...
do you know of some adaptable aftermarket spare parts or some bushing that can be mounted ?
thank you

Giacomo

Just a thought, since they are discontinued by Mopar and no one else seems to list them. :banghead:
Get some used ones from a donor
or
you could try the DIY polyurethane bushing method?
Look on YouTube, lots of videos on how to.
Good luck,

Thank you WWDiesel

in fact, knowing the bushing sizes, you could look for them aftermarket ...

I have done all 4 front mounts with after market urethane bushings with DOM tubing OD and ID. I had to turn the OD of the DOM tubing from 2" to approx. 1.87" to make it a press fit in the old mounts.
Old mounts need to be pressed out. The main symptom was lots of slop in the front drivetrain when putting in 4WD. The front drive shaft would almost torque down and touch the cross member.
The entire job was a lot of work, but no metal on metal noise over small bumps on rough roads now.

If there is interest, I will do a write up with PN's, sizes etc.

Thanks,

Jim

Giacomo,

I will work on the write up this week. Now that I have the front end tight I can get and alignment and new tires.

Thanks,

Jim

PS. to replace the front axle/differential mounts is much work to warn you ahead of time.
