I am new here. My crd lost power and was blowing a lot of black smoke. I checked the oil and it was almost 3 quarts low. After filling it up I put it on a trailer and got it home. I did the following things. I checked and replaced the intercooler hoses and checked the intercooler for leaks and there were none. The air filter is clean, MAF sensor is new. I found the turbo needed rebuilt, so I had that done. Changed the fuel filter and checked the timing and the timing is correct. I've changed the electronic throttle pedal. The EGR was deleted 2 years ago and that is the only code in the system. I'm lost!

Did you check all the vacuum lines for the turbo actuator? I've seen them melt and leak in the area of the turbo downpipe, resulting in no boost.

Check all the plastic vacuum lines and small hoses for the vacuum system that controls turbo vanes. They are known for cracking, collapsing, breaking, etc... If this happens, it can greatly affect turbo boost output.
Also may want to try a new MAP sensor; if it goes bad it can give false signal to the ECM and cause low boost issues.

Picture of bad vacuum line that controls turbo actuator.
