we have HD OME coils and shocks all around, All J's clearanced the plastics so we can run 245/75-16's all around. will we have any issues if we opt for the Rubicon wheels, the 'Moabs' ?? :?:

Shouldn't have any problems, I have about the same set up as you , OME Heavy Duty springs and running Moabs, when I bought the Moabs they had the 245-75 X16 MTRs on and I ran them around for a few days and no clearance issues. I do have the ARB out front which would do away with any rubbing at all there in front .

I can promise you those moabs will look sweet with that color... 8)

Probably even better than mine with those flares and such.

I get very minor rubbing around the foglight area with my 245/70/16. I could easily fix it with a heat gun but Ive never felt the need. The rear will rub at full flex without some small extended bumpstops.

Jeepjeepster, I must say I like your Jeep with the Moabs better too. Of course my opinion may be biased.

I don't know if I'm biased or not but I like the look of the Moabs as well.

Back in 04 when I first found this site , there was a guy who posted a picture of his Liberty, it was black, debadged, had Moabs, lifted and then I knew where my would be someday, cant remember his name but looked good to me so thats how mine ended up where it is. His was the first KJ with Moabs I remember seeing.

Hey guys. I too am biased to the Moabs. I know DC sold a ton of these things but they'd have sold a ton more if they'd done a "Rubicon" edition. I get people all the time at gas stations and stoplights saying "I didn't know they made a Rubicon version. I'd have bought a Liberty if they would have. That looks sweet." I've added some custom sliders and a few other little touches to set mine apart.

As far as rubbing goes, after I went wheeling, I looked to see where my MTRs were rubbing and proceeded to get my Dremel out and cut the flares where I say rubbage. I also took out the inner fenderwells. That caused a ton of rubbing. Now, no rubbing. I figure that bought me a good inch or so of clearance and that's good because I put on those swaybar disconnects. Man what a diff that made! That, the sliders and the locker of course!
