Actually, nearly every samco product is availible in those colors when you purchase them, I doubt you will be stuck with blue.

Well there goes my idea, just can't risk it right after the holidays and all.

Anyway thanks for the help, from all us 'oldies'. :D

just was at jeep dealers parts department and 2002 2.5 crd liberty up 2.8 turbo hoses are the same in lenght and shape, only ones that are different are 2007 models
i had both hose kits on counter for 2.5 and 2.8 and we both measured them and checked the shape, all 2007 models are slightly different
so if you want to be safe, any crd model in 2.5 and 2.8 from 2002 to 2005 are made by same and same in all ways

hope this helps
cant do no more for you guys

by 2007, do you mean 2007 KJ, or 2007 KK?

jeep parts department guy was saying kj or as called here cherokee

ok just making sure, there were plenty of KKs built in 2007, and if you dont follow the model year nomenclature they could have been mistaken for KKs when referring to 2007's.

I checked last week and there are no KK for sale in the German market. They are still all KJ. I do have my photos from IAA of the KK CRD.

kelticknight : Many thanks for making sure the 2.5 and 2.8 are the same! The later models KJ ('07) had a volumetric turbo, maybe the difference in hoses lies there. We cannot get a KK in Spain untill late this summer......or probably whenever they run out of KJ stock...

Keep bugging Samco Sport they are starting to feel the heat. They also know that the $299.99 MSRP is something they are going to have to deal with as well. There is a dealer in the US, IF IF IF, you really stay with the GB, will probably take the GB offer.

Uh, could you rephrase that last line, I didn't quite decipher it....

I'm guessing he's saying there is a United States dealer who will facilitate a group buy on them.

I would too, but we have already talked about that and I have said before that's what we would do, so it seems a little odd he would repeat that.

I think he might mean is that once we have our groupbuy price we may be able to get that vendor to regularly retail them to us at the groupbuy price, even after the groupbuy, which would be nice.

There are 3 authorized Samco Sport dealers in the US. One of those 3 has said they would handle a GB directly from Samco Sport when they can get a price and date to have them in-hand. Samco Sport is more likely to ship 35 to 50 sets of hoses to a authorized dealer as they can wash their hands of the whole deal after shipment. Unfortunately Samco Sport knows they have great products and run their business the same. It is a buyer/seller market and right now we are at Samco Sports mercy. The Samco Sport dealer I have here shows no interest in getting these items for me. It is hard enough getting parts that they have "in stock". There are several things that Samco Sport has done that is not normal for a professional business to do. These things have caused me to be very cautious of Samco Sport. I have prototyped many things in the past 12 years here in Germany so I speak from good and bad history.

If these hoses become available, I'm definitely interested in them. Any way I can keep the Libby trouble free so it doesn't let me down at an unplanned future date is worth it. My experience with silicone hoses has been excellent, although they are expensive.

Let's get this hose on the road! :)

If we can get the discount lined up, I'm in. Sure would like to swap out the oem hoses before they pop on me.

While $200 would be better than $300, I would pay the $300 for a set of new hoses. A blown hose in the middle of nowhere can cost you a lot more than that, and these hoses would not be easy to jury rig to get home.

I'm carrying a radiator hose emergency repair kit in the CRD for such an event.
