I've had my CRD Sport for 15 months, put almost 40k miles on so far and have not had a major problem. I change my oil every 10k, with 5w40 synthetic (Mobile 1 Truck and SUV), and only put Power Service in during winter months.

I'm a firm believer that part of the problems stem from how the owner drives. I drive almost 100 miles each day all highway, so my engine gets a good chance to warm up and work like a diesel should. However, when I'm running around on the weekends, forget it. Crappy mileage and performance.

My opinion is not in the poll:

"I love my CRD but have had a large number of problems, and am worried about long term reliability."

But going into this I knew that I was being a little bit of a guinea pig, beta testing their diesel in the states if you will. So I expected some things to need tweaking...

Over all, I am really really happy with the CRD.
