Thats when you hit two deer in a Jeep thats not a month old. Can't blame the wife though.

Ouch. You looking to get an ARB bumper and bull bar? I know I am! I drive through deer country too, and I've already wrecked one front end and fender on another car killing one of those darn things. I don't wanna do THAT again!

For 08, Taureg's are supposed to be offered with a variation of the 3.0 diesel found in the Grand Cherokee and Mercedes E320 (and engine developed jointly by Mercedes and VW). A much more reasonable engine for that sized vehicle, imo.
