The part that leaks is the plastic puc at the bottom with the 2 plugs in it - if it's still plastic - it will eventually leak - nature of the beast.

If the picture is what was replaced, they gave you an entirely new fuel head, not just the WIF. By the way, the WIF is simply a function of the spin-on filter. The most likely source of air infiltration is a degraded component in the head (plastic puck or heater plug, at stated previously). Glad to hear it's better for you. It should perform like new for you, now.
