ausome! yeah i work for a fire dept in union city and now live in livermore so that is ausome and they are close. the stoneridge jeep dealer in dublin said in manteca there is a tech with the tools but boardwalk would be way closer!! appriciate it! looks like your in san mateo? how long have you had your crd?"

just got a call from my mechanic. he got it back together and it seems to be running fine. no cel, might have dodged a bullet. still cost a pretty penny. but less than having to get a new engine! lets hope for the best

Day 2 He cleaned out my throttle body. It was caked! It chirps the tires now! The rear driver window reg was broken so on the way home I was hearing alot of vi ratio. From the tires above 45 mph. I replaced the regulator last night and it was more barable of a ride into work this mourning! Hopefully this thing is fine! Thanks all fir the help! I hope to vet the gee tune as soon as I can save up some more money now hat o just spent so much on buying and fixing this jeep!

Bought it new in October 2005 in Oklahoma. Actually had my mother-in-law buy and register it in OK. They drove it out for us and we kept the OK plates until we had 7,500 miles on it and then reg'd it in CA. You can see in my sig it's been pretty painless with the mods I've done. I keep a close eye on the transmission fluid (it eats it) and if this is your first diesel, watch the oil level too - it will use a little oil over time.
