I think the only vehicle I would let my CRD go for would be a CRD Grand Cherokee. However, it is hard to find one that is not optioned to the gills; I don't like all the bells and whistles. More stuff to break.
However, I think the Lib could do with more comfortable seats. . .
I have one of those also. It's different, some ways better, others worse. In the WK you sit more 'carlike' with your feet in front of you, rather than 'chairlike' with your feet below in the KJ. The US spec WK diesel is over-geared with a 3.73 axle (and only a 0.86:1 overdrive) so it spins real fast on the highway - that is why it will never match the KJ for fuel economy. However that gearing also turns it into a pulling monster with a trailer. Same torque as the Hemi at half the rpm means zero downshifting at freeway speeds. (At least not in 2000 miles this summer around Michigan.) The stereo sounds better than the KJ, but you have to deal with the annoying MyGig and it's oddities. I got an excellent deal on mine (one of the last made) and it actually cost $200 out the door less than my KJ in 2005.
Guess I have a thing for orphaned Jeep products...
