I don't find this surprising.. since the fuel system is substandard. just think if the same number of cummis common rail had the same issues..( if I not mistaken, they have factory lift pumps). I don't think its the CP3 that's the problem but the overall air management issue. I'm thinking too much air over a period of time kills/weakens the CP3.
